Four podium finishes were achieved, with Impellizzeri a major player on the Gran Fondo route. Excellent, in fact, was the fifth place achieved by Simone Impellizzeri, with the standard-bearer of the Lecco team celebrating second place in his Elite Master category (19\/29 years).
