IGNASI RIVERA, FROM THE ISB-CYCLISTWORK FACTORY TEAM, WINS THE SILVER MEDAL IN A TIGHT FINAL
Today the Catalan ultra marathon championship was held in Castelldans, Lleida, where our brave Ignasi was able to start after a week of doubts following an accident suffered last Saturday during training.
The ultra-distance and sailing race was going to be a great challenge for him. After many kilometers with the first classified, a navigation error caused him to lose track and his chances of getting the jersey slipped away. Despite this, Ignasi managed to do a great job in the race and achieve a creditable second place, just over a minute behind the winner.
Next week, the team will travel to Andorra to compete in the Marathon Cup.
