In his participation in the VI Xamascada and after its cancellation in 2020 and 2021, the Spanish alpine skating team has added his first medal. The participating team has achieved it in the test of the European championship of slalom by teams of the modality of Alpine in line.
The protagonists of this first medal as runners-up, have been; Nuria Requejo, Ainhoa Mellado, Marc Morera and Sergio Méndez. They have achieved the 2nd position with a combined time of 3:01.98. Ahead, and the only selection that has managed to overcome the great Spanish time, is the German team, which has been 6 seconds faster.
La Xamascada, is an in line alpine sporting event that every year makes Villablino (located in the “Valle de Laciana”, in the middle of the Leonese mountain), the World Capital of the Alpine online and where more than 10 countries of the world competing to be the champions of a skating modality that still has a long way to go.
