This new year 2023, comes from the hand of the WSE Champions League, which brings together every year the best teams in Europe in an initial format of group stage (with 4 groups of 4 teams) and subsequent eliminatory. Where the current champion is GSH Trissino.
In the draw for the group stage held yesterday, Thursday, December 29, the ambassador team of ISB Sport, Deportivo Liceo, after two years of absence in the competition, will face each other in a double round, with group A, formed by SL Benfica (Portugal), UD Oliverense (Portugal) and CP Calafell (Spain). Hockey will begin on January 26, 2023 at the Oliveirense rink and will end on April 13, receiving the same Portuguese team.
The order of the clashes for Liceo in absence of specific schedules, is as follows:
- Matchday 1 (January 26): UD Oliveirense – DEPORTIVO LICEO
- Matchday 2 (February 9): DEPORTIVO LICEO – SL Benfica
- Matchday 3 (February 23): CP Calafell – DEPORTIVO LICEO
- Matchday 4 (March 9): DEPORTIVO LICEO – CP Calafell
- Matchday 5 (March 23): SL Benfica – DEPORTIVO LICEO
- Matchday 6 (April 13): DEPORTIVO LICEO – UD Oliveirense
